The Hardiman Research Nursing Student Scholarship fully funded PhD scholarship four years, focused on five main areas of research where the University offers leading expertise. The value of research scholarships are € 16,000 stipend plus fees.

Hardiman Research Scholarship:

The Hardiman Research Nursing Student Scholarship offers the opportunity for individuals who are eligible to pursue postgraduate studies. Scholarship supports basic research in the world-class;
Humanities and Social Sciences, including Law and Business Studies (Stream A)
Science, Medicine, Engineering and Informatics (Stream B).
The Nursing Student Scholarship main strategic objective is to attract the best students to NUI Galway and support their development as an innovative individual who will contribute globally to economic development, cultural and social.
While most awards are supported by Hardiman postgraduate Nursing Student Scholarship will be awarded to the European Union (EU) citizens, or to those who are normally resident in EU member states, some awards will also be offered to exceptional candidates who are normally resident in the member countries non-European Union. Requirements Details:

Hardiman Nursing Student Scholarship Program does not accept applications from people currently registered as PhD candidates.
The successful applicant will be expected to have a first or second class award of primary degree or equivalent. For graduate students with the results presented in the GPA (Grade Point Average ") or forms of QCA, the first Irish university system in accordance with a 3.6 or above and the two above corresponds to a 3.2 or above (but less than 3.6 .)

Nursing Student Scholarships we offer are limited and highly competitive. You must have sufficient funds in place before enrolling in your course. Unless stated otherwise, advertised scholarships are only available to prospective students submit full-time. Awards generally will begin on the first day of the academic year that you have applied for the October 1, 2011. Only if you meet all eligibility criteria (ie, if you meet the requirements of the scholarship) will you be able to apply. If there is no separate scholarship application form to be submitted, we will use your application entry form and the references given. Therefore it can be transmitted to the scholarship selection committee. Please do not send supporting documents unless special scholarship application process asks you to do so. USDA Borlaug Fellowship Program Nursing Student Scholarships for Kosovo

This Nursing Student Scholarships program offers training and collaborative opportunities in agricultural research, international agricultural economics, leadership and policies for researchers who work for the government of Kosovo.

Nursing Student Scholarship Applicants who live in the United States must meet one of the following requirements: be a United States legal resident, has been granted permanent residency, have a valid visa that does not prohibit educational studies; has been granted temporary protected status along with approved Notice of Action issued by the Citizen Immigration Services and verified through CIS Form g-845, or has been granted asylum along with approved Notice of Action issued by Citizen Immigration Services.

Applicants must have completed at least 9 credits toward their degree programs as education.

MASRC Aboriginal Athlete Nursing Student Scholarship

This Nursing Student Scholarship is to encourage Aboriginal students to continue being active in sport while attending a recognized post secondary institute. Aboriginal students graduating from Grade 12 and who are enrolled into a full time University or other recognized Post Secondary Institution can apply for this scholarship. The candidate must have proficiency in sport, and have a minimum “C” (65%) average in his/her grades.

Amount Details:

PhD Nursing Student Scholarships Position in Experimental High-Energy Heavy-Ion Physics

The ERC-Starting Research Group QGP-ALICE at Utrecht University has an opening for a PhD position in Experimental High-Energy Heavy-Ion Physics. The group is strongly involved in Heavy-Flavour Physics in the ALICE experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.

Requirements

Conditions of Employment

When fulfilling a PhD position at the FOM foundation, you will get the status of junior scientist.

You will have an employee status and can participate in all the employee benefits FOM offers. You will get a contract for 4 years. Your salary will be up to a maximum of 2,610 euro gross per month.The salary is supplemented with a holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

You are supposed to have a thesis finished at the end of your four year term with FOM.

A Nursing Student Scholarships training programme is part of the agreement. You and your supervisor will make up a plan for the additional education and supervising that you specifically need. This plan also defines which teaching activities you will be responsible (up to a maximum of 10% of your time).
